Day 01: Hanoi
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, either Domestic or International arrival, after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to exit gate and look for your guide who will be waiting at the lobby, holding the signboard with your name on it.

Day 02: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
After breakfast, the guide will pick you up at the hotel at 8:00 AM for a day of sightseeing in Vietnam’s charming capital. Explore Hanoi’s key sites, starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and stilt house, the Presidential Palace, and the nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Visit the Temple of Literature and West Lake, featuring the tranquil Tran Quoc Pagoda. Choose to explore one of the city’s museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum. Conclude the day with a traditional water puppet show, showcasing an ancient art form, or enjoy a 45-minute cyclo tour around the Old Quarter, Opera House, and Hoan Kiem Lake.
Note: On Monday and Friday morning, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ethnic museums are closed

Day 03: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Overnight Cruise (B/L/D)
Guide will pick you up in the hotel lobby at 8:30 AM to begin our journey east to Halong Bay. As we travel through the picturesque rice-farming villages of the Red River Delta, we will witness the everyday life of Vietnamese villagers. Upon arrival at Halong Bay, we will board a beautiful traditional junk boat for a full day and night of cruising among the bay’s 3,000 magnificent limestone islets. In the evening, while the boat is anchored in a stunning lagoon, we will enjoy a wonderful seafood meal. Later, there will be an opportunity for an evening swim from the side of the boat. Spend the night on our luxurious boat.

Day 04: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L) 
Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise over the bay’s towering islands. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea, before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk for breakfast then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Halong. Have brunch on board the boat before returning to Halong pier to get back Hanoi.

Day 05: Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang – Hoi An – Free at leisure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure until transfering to airport for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, our driver will pick you up and transfer to hotel in Hoi An for check in. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 06: Tra Que Village to Van Lang Fisherman Village and Bay Mau Coconut Forest (B/L)
Experience an unconventional adventure around Hoi An, discovering the true Vietnam off the beaten path. Our custom-tailored tours focus on lesser-known attractions, ensuring maximum comfort, service, and quality. Each tour is limited in size and accompanied by a knowledgeable guide.

08:30 – Depart from your hotel. Your guide will meet you in the lobby and transfer you to Tra Que vegetable village, home to 150 farmers and 400 owners cultivating various vegetables and herbs using natural fertilizers.
10:00 – Walk through vast rice fields and quiet roads, far from tourist trails, observing the daily activities of Hoi An villagers.
11:00 – Explore Tra Que vegetable village, meet local farmers, and learn about their cultivation methods. Participate in gardening activities like raking, sowing, watering, and transplanting greens.
12:00 – Continue through paddy fields, Ba Le market, and reach Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau coconut water forest. Visit Mr. Han’s home, a three-generation family, enjoy green tea, and row a basket boat with local experts.
13:30 – Return to Mr. Han’s family for a foot bath with medicinal herbs, followed by preparing and enjoying a local lunch featuring dishes like Tam Huu spring rolls, Banh Xeo pancakes, and grilled fish in banana leaf.
14:30 – After lunch, enjoy free time and a short rest before returning to your hotel around 16:00.

Day 07: Hoi An Walking Tour – Tailor Made Shops (B/L)
9.00 Your local guide will pick you up from the hotel. Transfer to visit:
– Transfer to Hoi an ancient town – a charming ancient town known for its well-preserved architecture, lanterns, and street food.
– Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, an iconic symbol of Hoi An, and the Assembly Hall of the Fujian Chinese Congregation.
– Take a leisurely walk along the narrow streets of Hoi An’s Old Quarter and explore the local shops, galleries, and markets.
– Have lunch at a local restaurant and try Hoi An’s famous dishes such as cao lau, mi quang, and banh mi.
Afternoon/ Evening time are free at your leisure. Hoi An offers a charming atmosphere with various attractions to explore. Here are my recommendations for places to visit in the evening:

Hoi An Ancient Town: Stroll through the beautifully lit streets, admire the lantern-filled alleys, ancient buildings, and vibrant riverside.
Riverside Restaurants: Dine at riverside restaurants with scenic views of the Thu Bon River, enhanced by the evening lanterns.

Traditional Cultural Performances (Ky Uc Hoi An): Watch traditional shows featuring music, dance, and storytelling.

Day 08: Hoi An – Da Nang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh – Free at Leisure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival Ho Chi Minh, you will be welcomed by our tour guide/ driver and transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 09: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Excursion (B/L)
Pick up from your hotel at 8:00 AM for a departure to My Tho. Upon arrival, we’ll take a boat ride along the river, passing stilt houses and fruit plantations as we approach the My Tho fishing village and its floating fish farm. We’ll then proceed to Tortoise Island for lunch in the orchard.
Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shade of water coconut trees. Visit a family business that showcases the idyllic rural lifestyle, and enjoy a rowboat ride along the creeks. After trekking through the fruit plantation, we’ll return to the village. The day concludes with a relaxing drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City Tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before meeting our guide at 8:00 AM. We’ll visit top attractions in Ho Chi Minh City, including the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Then, we’ll explore the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office, iconic French colonial buildings.
After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll head to the Cu Chi Tunnels. This 250-kilometer man-made maze served as communication routes, storage, hospitals, and living quarters during the war. You can even enter the tunnels to experience the conditions firsthand.
After that, taste the typical boiled tapioca and hot tea before you come back to Saigon

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh – Fly to Siem Reap (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our tour guide/ driver and transfer to hotel for check in.

OPTIONAL TOUR
Take a Siem Reap Orientation Tour, starting with Preah Ang Check Preah Ang Chom which is the biggest local shrine in the city center. Locals throng here to pray for luck, especially newlyweds, and it is an atmospheric place to visit in the late morning or late afternoon, as the incense smoke swirls around. Then we continue to walk along the Siem Reap riverside to visit the Wat Preah Prom Rath, it is a functioning Buddhist monastery featuring a typical Khmer-style pagoda, a courtyard with statues depicting different Buddhist beliefs, and a hall surrounded by hand-painted picture walls containing a giant statue of seated Buddha and a reclining Buddha. Return to hotel for refreshment

Late afternoon, our guide and driver will meet you again to take you on to walk through the street foot hall where all the locals come for a picnic and drinks after work. You are invited to taste some snacks, drinks, and fruits as much as you can before we go to one of the local restaurants for dinner along with the Khmer Classic Live Band (black forest).

Day 12: Angkor Tour (B/L)
Start to tour to visit Angkor Wat Temple, one of the modern wonders of the world. Be amazed by the sheer size of the temple and learn how the Khmer Empire prospered between the 9th and 13th centuries, around the time when Angkor Wat was built. Stroll through the intricately carved hallways that show hundreds of fine carvings and discover small shrines still in use today by the local people. And then, continue to the picturesque Ta Prohm. This beautiful temple is overgrown with fig trees, giving a haunting yet exotic atmosphere. The magnificent roots of the trees have merged over the centuries with the temple’s huge stone blocks, emphasizing a ‘forgotten city’ feeling. Return to hotel for relaxation Lunch at the local restaurant

After lunch, we will visit Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire with its centerpiece; the Bayon temple. As you approach, you will notice the enigmatic faces of former King Jayavarman VII looking in every direction. Your guide will take you to the Terrace of the Elephants, which served as a platform from where the King could welcome back his victorious army, and the Terrace of the LeperKing, which holds detailed carvings winding along a narrow passageway that leads to the Baphuon complex. Next, we drive to West Baray to get the nicest spot to view the sunset over this manmade lake, and enjoy the snacks and drinks (local beers and snacks) while the sunset is setting down.

Day 13: Kbal Spean Mountain and Banteay Srei Temple (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning, we drive to Kbal Spean (60 minutes), which translates to “Bridge Head”. From the entrance, it is an easy 3km hike up to the hill passing through a nice forest offering beautiful views over the surrounding plains. On top, you will find a river with many rocks under the surface holding inscriptions and Hindu statues referred to as the Lingas which date back to the 11th century. There is also a waterfall on top that drops significant amounts of water during the wet season but dries up entirely during the height of the dry season (March/April). In the rainy season the route may be slippery and good footwear is advised. Hike down the hill back to the car and drive to have lunch at the local restaurant, after lunch, we will visit Banteay Srei Temple. This red sandstone temple is one of Angkor’s most significant structures as its walls are decorated with elaborate carvings which have been preserved remarkably well. They provide an excellent into the Angkor civilization and their beliefs. It was built in the 10th century and was dedicated to the Hindu god – Shiva. Drive back to your hotel in Siem Reap to relax. Dinner is on your own

Day 14: Tonle Sap Lake – Siem Reap departure (B/L)
Drive about 45 minutes to the countryside, stopping en route to visit a local village. Arrive at the quay and board a local boat for a 1.5-hour ride on the Tonle Sap Lake (Chong Kneas Floating Village), also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia. Find out how communities live and work on the lake; see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, among others; observe their daily lives. Drive back to Siem Reap for check-out and lunch at the local restaurant, if time permits, visit the old market and artisans in Dángkor before transferring to the airport for departure.

This red sandstone temple is one of Angkor’s most significant structures as its walls are decorated with elaborate carvings which have been preserved remarkably well. They provide an excellent into the Angkor civilization and their beliefs. It was built in the 10th century and was dedicated to the Hindu god – Shiva. Drive back to your hotel in Siem Reap to relax. Day 14: Tonle Sap Lake – Siem Reap departure (B/L)
Drive about 45 minutes to the countryside, stopping en route to visit a local village. Arrive at the quay and board a local boat for a 1.5-hour ride on the Tonle Sap Lake (Chong Kneas Floating Village), also known as the Great Lake of Cambodia. Find out how communities live and work on the lake; see the floating schools, markets, and police stations, among others; observe their daily lives. Drive back to Siem Reap for check-out and lunch at the local restaurant, if time permits, visit the old market and artisans in Dángkor before transferring to the airport for departure.
